Clare and I went to Yo Gabba Gabba live in Upper Darby (also known as the ghetto). It was more entertaining driving there for nearly 3 hours. We found a really great deal on Groupon, making the total for two tickets $28. Clare LOVED the show, even though she rarely requests the show at home anymore.
Checking out her ridic over priced light stick....We purchased a T-shirt for the show from a shady guy on the corner instead of the booth on the inside. This was a just for fun event and I couldn't see spending more on ONE T-shirt than I spent on BOTH tickets. So, the guy selling them out of a duffel bag wins.
Clare and her friend Zachary. My friend Beth, her mom Mrs. Uhrig and Beth's son Zachary came to to visit! Clare had a blast running around all night long!
Clare climbing in the baby's bassinet and then hiding under a blanket.
Clare, Mommy and Avery took a walk uptown for ice cream. I even let Clare try to eat and walk at the same time. It was HILARIOUS. She was a disaster. Though she was pretty quite, trying to concentrate on spilling less of the ice cream as she walked.
Avery doing tummy time! This was before she could roll over. Now she's not so keen on this game.
Bath time!
Clare insisting I take pictures before her cousins come over to play.
This is Clare's new "cheese" face. I have no idea why she started making this smile when I take a picture. The good news is that this behavior started just before school pictures, so I'm sure those turned out well:(
Clare and Avery with their cousins, Jessica, Juliana and Angelina. The girls are so great with Clare! Angelina is a very tough 2 year old, so she was able to hold her own with Clare!
Avery mad about the sticker not matching

Avery doing tummy time. This pic is from the first night she rolled over. I would show the video, but Avery continues to trick us. We had about 2 hours of video of her NOT rolling over. Every.single.time we put the camera down, she promptly rolls over:)
Clare demanding pictures after school

Cute pictures of Avery smiling. She is also starting to do the baby, wheezy chuckle that all babies do. It's, of course, super cute!
Avery laughing at Daddy.
Look how long Clare's hair is when it's straight!
Clare for picture day! She woke up with CRAZY hair. I usually wet it down with a spray bottle of water to tame the curls. But I got worried that her class would have pictures early and her hair would look wet. So, I decided to straighten it. It's been almost a year since I've tried that and it turned at super cute!
Leaving on the Daddy bus for school
Clare cuddling with Avery whether she wants to or not!
I LOVE Avery's face in this one. The side-eye is hilarious
Clare's Halloween's "Birthday" parade at preschool. It was super cute. There were 4 Disney princesses amongst the 5 girls.
(It was red, white and blue day at school, hence the Phillies shirt underneath)
Clare did great walking on the line around the gym and the crowd did not phase her (she is her Daddy's daughter). She loved all of the adults watching her (some of the kids seemed a little shell shocked)
Mommy, Clare and Avery at the Pumpkin Patch. We waited for Avery to get over her cold that she had last weekend and as a result had to pick pumpkins in our coats! We have a forecast of snow tomorrow!
Daddy and Clare on the hayride!
Clare running
Driving the tractor
Trying to be a face while Daddy took the pumpkins to the car...
October has been great! Avery is rolling over and starting to laugh. Clare is doing better at preschool and seems to love going every morning. We are starting to get the hang of being a family of four.
We had our SD card reader go missing, so I couldn't post pictures on the blog for awhile. Hopefully I'll get Halloween up before we leave for Ohio! We can't wait to see our family and friends!

I like how Chris covered Avery’s “lady parts” for the pictures. I still think she looks like a mixture of Clare and Erin except for the bowl haircut. Clare’s hair is getting sooooo long!
ReplyDeleteToo funny. Especially like the picture at school where Clare is sticking her tongue out at the little boy in the red and white hat. She is so-o-o like Heather. Scary. Imagine Lisa, Heather and Clare in the same room when Clare hits her teens. I'm leaving town. - G3
