Last year Clare ate the pumpkin guts and seeds raw. We actually became concerned she was shoveling it in so fast. This year, she wouldn't even consider touching it. We were cracking up laughing at her. The pics with her hands in the pumpkin are her holding a spoon and not touching it. Being a good mom, I put pumpkin guts on her hands to make her get over her SPD issue :) Snow White Aunt Jess and Avery Clare's first experience with silly string Avery at the end of the night, a la Christmas Story level enjoyment Clare demanded I take a picture today in her polka dot dress. I bribed her with it, since she requests wearing it every day to help her move it along this morning, since I had to take her to school. It worked:)
Really, the name says it all. It's a crazy hot mess. Most of the time. Sometimes we get it together. Our utensil drawer gets cleaned, the sofa cushions are picked up and vacuumed and the stairs are swept to erase any evidence of Serena. However, on a daily basis, none of these things are done. Serena has yo-yo weight gain and a strong hatred for her life. Clare is a wild toddler with a very bossy personality. Chris is busy working 43 jobs. And we've decided now is a good time to add another kid to the heap. All and all, our life is a hot mess. However, that's just how we roll.
