Clare is almost a walker! She is taking several (up to 8 or 9) steps in a row! I'll be sure to get video this weekend and post it on the blog. I can't believe how fast the time goes....
I wish more than anything I could hit pause. And even rewind some days. I can't believe how big she is or the stuff she does. Can I get that 5 month old back, who would smile and coo and stay where I put her (minus the rolling). Or the 2 month old who was so tiny and sleepy. Or even the one a month ago who would hold still for a diaper change and didn't like to see how loud her voice could be in stores? She's still so cute and I'm sure in 3 months, I'll want this back, but could each day (or at least some days:) last longer?
Really, the name says it all. It's a crazy hot mess. Most of the time. Sometimes we get it together. Our utensil drawer gets cleaned, the sofa cushions are picked up and vacuumed and the stairs are swept to erase any evidence of Serena. However, on a daily basis, none of these things are done. Serena has yo-yo weight gain and a strong hatred for her life. Clare is a wild toddler with a very bossy personality. Chris is busy working 43 jobs. And we've decided now is a good time to add another kid to the heap. All and all, our life is a hot mess. However, that's just how we roll.
Yea!!!!! That's exciting!
ReplyDeleteAlso: you are so screwed. But on a positive, her mouth and hands will be farther away from the floor.
I can't believe how fast the times goes either. Can we hit the pause button for a while? Or even rewind just a little bit. Pretty please?!
