Clare's baby pool for this year! We were on the fence about getting one this summer. Chris and I were planning on joining a swim club this summer, but Clare's not potty trained and thus can't go in the big pool. So, the idea of spending the summer (and a lot of $) to sit in a baby pool (at 1,000 months pregnant) all summer seemed like a waste. So I think with #2 on the way we are going to hold off for at least another year or two. Clare seems content in the little pool.

She still loves her water table from Aunt Lisa too!

Clare's first school field trip was a few weeks ago. She loved it! The only negative was that she threw a FIT when the rides ended. This is her name tag from the visit to Storybook Land.
Weekly lessons with Ms. Special. Clare LOVES riding lessons. She asks me every day when I pick her up for school (T/R) if she is going to see Ms. Special. Aunt Sherry (and family) are so nice to do this for Clare!
Clare's school project last week. I guessed life preserver, though in pics maybe they were a construction crew?
PRESENTS!!! Grandmama, Grandpa and Aunt Heater sent Clare presents!!! Some fun clothes and her very favorite: CANDY. They also included Daddy and Mommy's favorite candies as well (which only helped increase Clare's chances of actually getting all of hers). She LOVED it!
Chris and Clare at Kelcie's (aka "Princess") Graduation! Clare decided that Kelcie was a princess in her beautiful dress. She kept staring at her and calling her princess all night! In fairness, Kelcie is Disney princess beautiful.
Clare and her "EMMM-AAAA-LEEEE".
More PRESENTS!!! Clare is one lucky girl! Aunt Lisa sent Clare some clip on earrings and Clare loved them! She wore them all night and only took them off to occasionally put them on me and then promptly take them right back. She told us all night how "beautiful" they are. Super cute:)
More earring pictures.
Baby #2's chunky thigh...Maybe this will be my fat baby:)

This is a pic of Clare from her 3d ultrasound. We weren't as far along with Clare. Chris and I really see the differences between the two. Though it looks like the baby will have hair like Clare did.

The finished product:) Gosh how amazing is that little face?
Everyone is doing great here! We are starting to get some of our list done in preparation for baby #2. We are really, really hoping she decides to sit tight until mid-August. I'm doing everything in my power to keep her snug as a bug for as long as possible.
Clare's last day of school was Thursday. We are going to send her to the preschool's summer camp one day a week a few times this summer. Plus, if the baby decides to make a break for it early, they said we could bring Clare as often as we like which will be a huge help if we need childcare ASAP! I guess I can finally breathe a sigh of relief and stop assuming they will ask her to leave:) I was so worried that she was so much younger than the other kids that she would have problems. Now it looks like the only problem is that she had 5 months to boss around 12 (mostly) four year olds:) I'm sure Baby #2 doesn't appreciate that type of practice:)
Hope all is well!
