I can't believe it's been almost a month since an update:)
Clearly, things are not that exciting around here.
Clare has been loving gymnastics and horse back riding lessons. Though I think the horse's have won by a long shot. She gets excited when she see's her leotard come out before gymnastics. She even has a little friend in class. Clare has been practicing her "riding" on multiple animals around the house, including her over-sized horse Mrs. Flopsy. Thankfully Serena has been spared thus far.
She is continuing to talk up a storm and has started saying really funny things. She often says "No" to just about anything you ask her. I've tried reading her "I Don't Care Pierre" my favorite childhood book, but she's less than enthused.
Recently Clare started recognizing letters so we went to the book store for some ABC books. Clare can ID about 1/2 the letters, which I find impressive since we've only been working on it for a few days. She is pretty good at shapes too (calling a triangle a "tyke-angle). The rectangle seems to confuse her a great deal, but otherwise she's all set. I've renamed the "crescent" to a moon, because I don't get it. That goes for a few other things in some of her baby books.
She has started singing more, which is pretty awful on the ears. She shakes her booty while she sings off-key and we of course find it cute. I will say AI is not in her future, but Chris encourages me to stop being so negative.
I'll be sure to update with pics soon! We were suppose to head over the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday, but a migraine (which have been fairly recent lately) won the battle and we have to hope for good weather this upcoming weekend.
Hope everyone is doing great!
