We've had a great start to Spring!
The weather has been beautiful here, so it's been lots of parks and walks. Clare, despite battling an ear infection, has been loving all of the outdoor time! We went to the Zoo one day last week. Since we have a family pass, Clare was able to invite some of her cousins along for a fun morning/afternoon at the Zoo during their Spring Break. Aunt Jess and Clare have been hanging out for date night together, which Clare of course loves. This weekend it was yard work central here, except for a short break to go celebrate Aunt Jessica's Birthday!
Clare had a Dr's appt this am and they said her ears are on the mend, although there is still a minor amount of fluid. One of the Dr.'s suggestions is to lose the pacifier. Even though the Pedi at the last appt. told us we could keep it until 2 (she uses it at bedtime and plane rides). So, we left it in the car and are going cold turkey, starting RIGHT NOW. It might be a tough trip, but she's gotta learn sometime, right? We tried a few months ago and Clare respectfully declined our idea by screaming at the top of her lungs for literally 2.5 hours. So, should be a fun few days before we leave. I'm sure Chris and I will need to alternate nights of liquid courage to deal with what should be good times ahead!
We'll be flying home on Thursday afternoon, so I'm sure we'll see most of you soon:)
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
