Birth Announcement Pictures
The pictures above were for Avery's birth announcement. These pics were the ones we didn't use (minus the black and white that is on the back of the announcement). Chris took the pictures. There was one more that is the main photo on the actual announcement that I'll put up tomorrow or Wednesday. I also have lots of fun pics from Nana and Pop's recent visit.
Everyone is doing pretty good here! I'll be sure to update more pics/stories when Clare starts school next week!

Presents!!! and our newest Addition
Presents!! From Nana and Pop
"Reading" the card first
Shoes!!!
Clare's newest dress-ups!
Clare modeling them for the camera.
Clare playing with them later
Our newest additions...not quite the addition I was hoping for.
Nana and Pop sent Clare a just because present of fun dress-ups! Clare is one lucky little girl!
Chris picked up Clare at school on Thursday (I was once again visiting my home away from home, Labor and Delivery) and she showed him the 4 year old room class pets: hermit crabs. She was THRILLED with them. So, Chris being a giant softy, was no match for Clare's 3 year old self. As a result we are the new owners of "Bubba" and "Gump", two hermit crabs. I'm not even a little bit of a fan of hermit crabs. I think they look like hairy, large spiders. However, Chris and Clare LOVE them. So, what are you going to do?
We also had a great visit with my friend Julia, her daughter Isabelle and Julia's mom! Julia lives in Florida, so we obviously don't get to see each other much. It was great they were able to stop by!
Ironically, I'm still pregnant! All that bed rest and meds to prevent pre-term labor clearly did the trick. Although, a little too well from my point of view! This little one is once again showing us it will go her way, not mine! I have an amnio scheduled for tomorrow and we may see Clare's little sister as early as Monday or Tuesday of this week. If not, she has a signed eviction notice for no later than 8/19. So, not too much longer. In the last two weeks I've been to Labor and Delivery 6 times! I'm over the visits. I know the nurses and residents by name and more information about their families and staff drama than a patient should ever need to know.
Hopefully our next update will have pics of a new addition of a different kind!
Hope all is well!
